JUDGEMENT OF THE CHURCH.
"For all of us must be manifested in front of the DAIS of Christ, that each should be requited, (to repay) for that which he puts into practice through the body, whether it be good or bad"
2 Corinthians 5:10.
THE DAIS
The dais or raised platform from which games were 'judged' and awards given, must not be confused with a judicial bench. The quality of our acts may determine the award which we are entitled, but the question of condemnation is entirely foreign to such a tribunal.
For "there is therefore, now, no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit." Romans 8:1. A.V.
"Who will be indicting God's chosen ones? God IS the Justifier!
Who is the condemner? Christ Jesus, the dying One, yet rather being roused, who is also at God's right hand, Who is pleading also for our sakes!
What shall be separating us from the love of God in Christ Jesus? Affliction, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? Nay! In all these we are more than conquering through Him that loves us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor messengers, nor sovereignties, nor the present, no the future, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus, our Lord." Romans 8:33-39.
Behold the quality of love the Father bestows on us, in His glorious salvation, the spiritual gifts we can receive, the baptism of the Holy Spirit, who helps and teaches us God's will, guiding us naturally and spiritually, then, because we obey His will and wishes, He bestows extra awards over and above all He has done for us.
