THE SOUL CHART 1

It is unfortunate that the translators of the Hebrew and Greek writings do not translate the word SOUL correctly. Jesus said, "I am laying down My SOUL" John 10:14-18. Greek. Yet they wrote LIFE.

The Greek word is PSUCHE, literally meaning 'COOL'. The sensation resulting from the combination of an organic body with the Spirit. Genesis 2:7

Whereas ZOE means LIFE, the activity as manifested IN the organic creation.
"Behold, ALL SOULS are MINE; the SOUL that sinneth IT shall die" Ezekiel 18;1-4

The day Adam sinned he (the soul) died, this was when he was expelled from God's presence Genesis 3:23 Then 930 years later he died physically. GENESIS 5:5

As Jesus took on Himself spiritually the sins of the world, he was cut off from God. "My God ! why didst thou abandon me?" Matthew 27:46.
Then He laid down His physical body, ( Matthew 27;50 .) fulfilling "When Thou shall make His SOUL a trespass offering for SIN.He shall see the travail of His SOUL and shall be satisfied ..because he poured out His SOUL unto death" Isaiah 53;10-12. Weymouth.

The soul is spiritual, an eternal insatiable flame of fire, "Seeing that I am pained in this flame" Luke 16:24 Greek, created by and for God , that can only be satisfied by an unsatisfying satisfaction in and through the presence and communication with His Creator. "It is written, not on bread alone shall man be LIVING, but on every declaration going out through the mouth of God" Matthew 4:4. Gk.    Deut. 8:3. Isaiah 55:11.

SPIRITUAL HEART

God has endowed man with the three powers of his spiritual soulish inward being.

VOLITION. That man may partake of the freedom of Holy love and communion---God granted him WILLPOWER.
MEDITATION. That man should in true knowledge mirror the Divine spirituality-INTELLECT
EMOTION. That man should rejoice in Divine blessedness-God granted him FEELINGS.

These three formed the spiritual HEART, which is the power of the Soul. Isaiah 26:8,9.

"The DESIRE of our SOUL is to thy Name...with my SOUL have I desired Thee in the night, yea, with my SPIRIT WITHIN ME will I seek Thee early."

The soul cannot receive any satisfaction of itself except through either of the two channels.
The SPIRIT CHANNEL contacting the Spiritual world. The PHYSICAL CHANNEL, the body, contacting through the five senses the NATURAL WORLD.

The soul is the connecting link between Soul and body, only through its mediation can the Spirit act on the body; for the Spirit is to the Soul, the "substance interwoven from WITHIN and ABOVE". Even as the body is the same from OUTWARD and BENEATH.

DEATHS

The Soul being spiritual can never die! The death of the Soul is the cessation of spiritual satisfaction from God. The death of the body is different, because of its return to dust. Ecc.12:7

"Then the dust (body) shall RETURN to the earth as it was; and the spirit shall RETURN unto God who gave it."

So the soul loses both of its channels, spirit and body, and is left naked. 2 Cor 5:1-3. Gk.

"For we are aware that, if our terrestrial tabernacle house should be demolished, WE (Christian) have a building of God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. For in this also we are groaning, longing to be DRESSED in our habitation which is from heaven, if so be that, being dressed also, we shall not be found naked"

The person who has not been redeemed will spend eternity with Satan and his angels in their place of spiritual torment. Matthew 25:41 ,46.

"Go from me, you cursed, into eternal fire made ready for the Slanderer (Satan) and his angels... and these shall be coming away into eternal chastening, yet the just into eternal life.

The Christian has a glorious expectation Col 1:5,27
