The present time

This is a representation of the age we are now living in, that is leading up to the rapture (the first return of Jesus Christ). It is called the period of world wide evangelism although some may dispute the fact that this is true. According to figures church attendance is falling so how can this be. The statement refers to the fact that never before has the Gospel been spoken on such a wide and varied scale before. New technology has made it possible to reach even the remotest part of the world and thanks to oil exploration and other deposits modern man has entered nearly every corner of the world and left some of this new technology.

It is said there are only a few tribes left in the south American forests who have not been spoiled by western civilisation, yet they have been visited by missionaries. Every one on earth has heard the Gospel in some form or other, whether it be in part or whole. The internet is finalising the spread of the Gospel. There is at present no controls over the internet so in countries where the church is oppressed the internet is free.

Church attendance may be falling but the interest into spiritual and religious teachings is growing faster than ever.
