After the final battle 'called' the battle of Armageddon, Christ before setting up His millennial reign on earth divides the nations of the earth into two distinct groups. On one hand he has the people who did not take the mark of the beast into their foreheads or hand, and who stood by the Jewish nation or their belief in God. These people are allowed access into the new millennium with Christ, whilst the others who took on the mark of the beast and sided with the Devil in their lives are punished by being sent into the lake of fire to await the final judgement.
