After time has finished and the earth destroyed and reformed into a new earth with new heavens God will put on the earth a city where he will reside with man. It is described as a city without sunlight or a temple because God will be the light and the temple. It is called the New Jerusalem.
The New Jerusalem will be far bigger than we could ever imagine its dimensions are approximately 1379 miles down each of its four sides, its height is equal to nearly 3 Great Britains standing on top of each other. It will cover about 1,901,641 square miles and will be the city where God will reside in the new earth. Its description in the Bible is of a city paved with Gold, where the gates are of solid precious stone and where there is no night. It will be a place to come to worship God and where the Jews that have endured to the end will live out eternity serving God. Outside the city will be the nations of the earth. It will be a physical place, not in the sense of now but like when Adam was alive. There will be no death or pain but mankind will be immortal. His body will not decay but be perfect as Adam's was before he fell into sin. The city will be a solid place that can be touched and seen it will be the residence for the Jewish race, the 12 tribes and all those who God gives authority to reside in.
