It seems strange that God has a book with everything written in it. Whether this is a literal book or not we don't know. But at the time of the White Throne judgement we are told that God opens two books, a large one which contains all the exploits of each person in his/her life and another smaller book called the Book of Life. Every one will be judged out of these two books but unless your name is found in the smaller of the two you will not be allowed to enter eternity with God.
What ever you say or do is recorded ready for that day so when you stand before God you will have no excuses, as everything will be recorded and accountable. You may forget but God will not. This is to make sure you get a fair hearing, where there is no margin for error. How many times have we wanted this system when someone is accusing us of something.
Those present will have no excuse and no line of defence, they will be totally in the hand of the judge, God.
