Monthly Challenge...
James 1:12-15
I guess the challenge this month is for those of you gong through a rough time to take hart from the scripture reference. We can’t escape trials or life but what we can do is understand why and realize hat sometimes we have the power to stop things getting worse. It’s not all Satan and his Angels, sometimes it’s our own inability to control ourselves. One thing is certain; God doesn’t tempt us with evil.
James 4:3
Following on from the previous scripture we find that our passions and wants also get in the way of effective prayer as well as leading us into temptation. My challenge then is to try to put God’s will above all our own. The reason we don’t get what we pray for is generally we pray for what we want and not what will further the Kingdom, aren’t we told to seek the Kingdom first and He will give all those other things. Let's get our priorities right.
